The Bloomington Bison are looking for energetic and motivated local college students for our 2025-26 Social Media internship program. We aim to provide our interns with rich sports industry experience and help to prepare them for their future opportunities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in planning and executing content for Bloomington Bison social media channels
- Attend all home games to take photos/videos and post engaging content in real time
- Assist in sending out marketing newsletters
- Assist in creating graphics for social media
Skills and Requirements
- Able to receive college credit for your internship
- Must be able to work all home games and select away games (away games will be worked remotely)
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work effectively with little to no supervision
- Must be able to troubleshoot in response to challenges
- Must have excellent communication skills and act as a team ambassador with every interaction
- Knowledge in Adobe Suite is preferred
- Knowledge in DSLR cameras is preferred
*Please note: Interns are paid $50 for game day shifts, though office hours and community events are unpaid. This is not a remote opportunity, must be local to the Bloomington area during the season.
