GGC Social Media Intern
Reports to Director of Events
Role Summary
This role supports the creation and execution of social media content across the GGC, a premier golf travel community under the Good Good umbrella. The position helps capture the moments that define the brand, creates engaging content for fans, and supports the day to day execution of social media across events, travel, and creator experiences. This role is ideal for someone who lives on social media, enjoys creating content, and wants hands on experience with one of the largest golf brands in the world.
Responsibilities
- Content Creation
- Capture photo and video content at tournaments, travel experiences, creator shoots, and community events.
- Film behind the scenes moments, fan interactions, and lifestyle content.
- Edit short form videos optimized for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms.
- Create graphics, carousels, and supporting visual assets when needed.
Social Media Operations
- Assist with scheduling and publishing content across social media channels.
- Monitor comments, messages, and community engagement.
- Track social media trends, sounds, and emerging content formats.
- Help maintain the content calendar and organize media libraries.
- Support campaign execution for sponsors, merchandise launches, and major announcements.
Event Coverage
- Provide real time social coverage during Good Good and GGC events.
- Capture content for live updates, recaps, and promotional campaigns.
- Coordinate with creators, production crews, and event staff to ensure content opportunities are captured.
- Assist with content planning before events and asset organization after events.
Creative Support
- Brainstorm new content ideas and recurring social series.
- Research competitor content and industry trends.
- Support photo and video shoots with setup, organization, and production needs.
- Assist with reporting on content performance and audience engagement.
Qualifications
- Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or similar platforms.
- Basic proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of current social media trends and best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfort working weekends and traveling for events when needed.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Interest in golf, sports, or creator driven media is a plus.
