Houston, Texas, Texas Pride Field Hockey Club is Houston's premier full-service field hockey organization, proudly operating out of the Texas Pride Indoor Facility. We serve players aged 4–18 through competitive travel teams, recreational leagues, play days, tournaments, camps, clinics, private lessons, and recruiting consulting. We are passionate about growing the game of field hockey in Texas, and we want you to be part of it. We are seeking a motivated and energetic Sport Management Intern for Summer 2026. This is a hands-on, immersive experience designed for current college students, recent graduates, or graduate students looking to build real-world skills in sports operations, event management, marketing, and team leadership. This internship is more than a line on a résumé — it's a chance to run programs, lead people, and make a measurable impact on a thriving sports club.
Key responsibilities include:
Plan, coordinate, and manage summer camp programming and daily operations
Serve as a primary point of contact for customer communications and inquiries
Develop and oversee summer staff schedules to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Assist in the administration and delivery of summer field hockey leagues and camps
Mentor and lead a cohort of high school interns, providing guidance and support
Support facility management, including setup, breakdown, and general upkeep
Contribute to marketing and branding efforts across digital and physical channels
What we're looking for:
Current college student, recent graduate, or graduate student in Sport Management, Kinesiology, Business, Marketing, or a related field
Strong communication and organizational skills
A team-first attitude with the ability to lead and motivate others
Willingness to work evenings and weekends as programming demands
Ability to relocate to Houston, TX for the duration of the summer
Background in field hockey is a plus, but not required
