The Kansas City Diamonds are seeking a highly organized and proactive Spring 2027 Business Operations Intern to join our team from January - May. This hands-on internship offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in the day-to-day operations, administrative management, and cross-functional coordination within a professional sports organization. The intern will play a key role in supporting the efficient functioning of various departments and contributing to the overall success of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the Kansas City Diamonds, including administrative tasks, game-day logistics, and general office management.
- Support scheduling and coordination across various departments to help ensure smooth and efficient team operations.
- Assist with data entry, record keeping, and maintaining organized filing systems.
- Support the coordination of internal meetings, events, and travel arrangements as needed.
- Facilitate communication between departments and external vendors or partners.
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives as assigned by the operations team.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant program (e.g., Business Administration, Sports Management, Office Administration, Communications).
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A strong interest in sports business and the operational aspects of a professional organization.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends for events, as needed.

Compensation
