The Kansas City Diamonds are seeking a dedicated and organized Spring 2027 Non-Profit Administration Intern to join our team from January - May. This hands-on internship offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in non-profit operations, community engagement, and administrative support within a professional sports organization's charitable arm. The intern will play a key role in supporting our community initiatives, ensuring efficient program delivery, and contributing to the organization's positive impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for various non-profit programs and initiatives.
- Assist with event planning and execution for community outreach and fundraising activities.
- Help manage donor databases and support communication with stakeholders.
- Prepare and organize program materials, reports, and presentations.
- Assist in researching grant opportunities and compiling application materials.
- Support the coordination of volunteer activities and community partnerships.
- Contribute to social media content and other communications related to non-profit efforts.
- Perform general office duties, including filing, data entry, and scheduling.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant program (e.g., Non-Profit Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, Communications).
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A strong interest in non-profit work, community development, and the sports industry.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends for events, as needed.

Compensation
