This position will support the Business Strategy and Analytics team in managing strategic initiatives across the organization. The Strategy & Research Associate will learn to ideate and activate around target segments and objectives, support teams and individuals through an innovation framework, and assist in research development and insight delivery. The Associate will also gain additional knowledge of organizational data strategy. This is a full-time, full-year position that requires a flexible schedule, including regular office hours, evenings, weekends, and potential gameday responsibilities.
In addition to the duties described above, the Strategy & Research Associate will take part in the Vikings’ exclusive Leadership Development Program. This program will provide regular opportunities for professional development, exposure to organizational leadership, and the ability to develop skills critical for the Associate’s future career growth. A fundamental part of the program includes clearly defined goals between the Associate and their Supervisor that will be tracked and measured throughout the term.
This is a temporary full-time position that will begin on June 1, 2026, and conclude on May 28, 2027, unless otherwise determined.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:
• Assist in the annual planning process and strategic analysis supported by goal setting and key performance indicator tracking
• Support research and collaborate with stakeholders to identify and evaluate opportunities to drive growth, improve processes, and enhance the fan experience
• Create and manage a research library and build summary decks with insights to support key business initiatives
• Assist with strategic innovation projects, including supporting and maintaining the Hype Innovation platform
• Play a key role in market research and leverage insights to inform business decisions
• Help anticipate market changes to guide teams in developing new products, services, or processes
• Assist in creating and maintaining performance benchmarks for key initiatives
• Use project management tools to provide transparency across teams and departments
• Manage vendor and stakeholder relationships, including communication between Business Strategy and partners
• Document meetings, coordinate schedules in Outlook, and assist with meeting facilitation
• Support the Business Strategy and Analytics team with additional ad hoc projects as needed
Qualification Requirements
• Strong work ethic
• Proven organizational skills and ability to be a self-starter
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and quickly learn new skills and processes
• Strong relationship-building skills and ability to navigate ambiguity
• Previous research experience is a plus
• Knowledge of business development, including strategy, design thinking, entrepreneurship, and innovation, is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Comfortable working in a diverse team environment
