Summer Intern | Marketing

Position Summary: Assist the CHSN Marketing team through an exciting and hands-on internship experience. CHSN is looking for an energetic and digitally savvy intern to provide and deliver marketing ideas while learning from experienced sports marketeers. Duties may include brand ambassadorship at marketing activations as well as helping create and execute various marketing assets that promote the network and our direct-to-consumer product.

·       Contribute marketing ideas across paid, owned and earned channels

·       Serve as an ambassador at marketing activations that reach Chicago Sports Network fans

·       Write marketing copy for on-air and radio promotion

·       Assist with email marketing campaigns and push notifications

·       Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in an accredited undergraduate program

·       Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting, Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, Digital Media, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field.

·       Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills

·       Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

·       Demonstrated interest in the field through coursework, extracurriculars, or previous experience

·       Prior internship or volunteer experience

·       Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

·       Problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills

·       Ability to commit to a full‑time, 8–10 week summer program

·       Enthusiasm for learning and professional development
