Position Overview:
The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) is looking for an ambitious, motivated, and eager-to-learn Summer Intern to join our fast-paced Ticket Operations team during the 2025 season. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the forefront of live sports ticketing while contributing to the success of one of the fastest-growing leagues in the country.
As our Ticket Operations Intern, you will be involved in the action during our busiest season and help support the operations of live sales and ticket distribution. You'll have the chance to sharpen your skills in event reporting, data analysis, and the management of our ticketing platforms (including Ticketmaster). This internship will give you unparalleled exposure to the day-to-day operations of a major sports league and equip you with valuable skills in ticketing, sales support, and event management.
Key Objectives:
  • Analyze and update weekly ticketing reports, providing valuable insights into league data.
  • Manage and distribute complimentary tickets to VIPs, sponsors, and league guests, ensuring top-tier customer service and communication.
  • Collaborate with the ticket operations team to support the successful distribution of tickets across various platforms.
  • Learn and master Ticketmaster products such as TM1 and Archtics, gaining valuable experience with industry-leading tools.
  • Take on dynamic responsibilities as tasks evolve throughout the summer, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in an exciting, fast-paced environment.
  • Gain insight into the logistics and operations behind major sports events and learn how we deliver a seamless fan experience.
  • Take on special projects as assigned, gaining a well-rounded skill set and exposure to multiple facets of sports operations.

Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Must be currently enrolled in college or able to receive college credit for the internship.
  • Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to analyze and present data.
  • A keen interest in learning about sports operations, ticketing platforms, and event management.
  • Strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and a passion for sports.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment.
  • Flexibility and willingness to take on diverse tasks with a can-do attitude.
