Part-time | Remote | Prefer Freshman or Rising Sophomore
Trip on Sports is a fan-first sports travel brand built for people who live for road trips, rivalries, and ridiculous away-game stories. We help fans “Win the Weekend” with guides on where to stay, what to eat, where to pregame, and how to make every game feel like a bowl game.
We’re looking for someone to develop content for our college pages and to help us grow our audience. We want to tap into the next generation of witty, sports-obsessed creators on campus.
Compensation will be based on skill level, fit. We want to create a win-win partnership.
We’re looking for a college content creator (ideally a freshman or sophomore) who:
- Loves sports
- Has thoughts, takes, and jokes about game days, universities, and road trips
- Wants to build a portfolio in journalism, social media, or creator/influencer work
As a Trip on Sports Campus Roadtrip Correspondent, you’ll create content that helps fans experience your school’s sports scene and road trips like insiders.
- Write short guides and posts like:
- “How to Win the Weekend at [Your School]”
- “Surviving a 6-hour drive to [Rival School]”
- “Best cheap eats before/after the game”
- Film short-form videos (TikTok/Reels/YouTube Shorts) about:
- Road trips to away games
- Game day routines
- Tailgates, bars, local spots, student sections, and traditions
- Current college freshman or sophomore (or early in your college career)
- Majoring in (or strongly interested in): Journalism/Communications/Marketing/Digital Media
-You’re AI Native - Willing to leverage ChatGPT, etc to accelerate content creation
- You love sports have major FOMO – college football, basketball, NFL
- You’re witty: you can turn a normal game day into a story worth telling
- You’re self-driven: no one has to remind you to film, post, or edit
- You’re outgoing – you naturally connect with people and aren’t afraid to DM or reach out to students at other colleges to get the latest ideas, swap perspectives, and help expand Trip on Sports’ reach
- You can spot partnership opportunities with other college kids – creators, student orgs, fan accounts, barstool-style pages, etc. – and think, “we should collab with them”
- Comfortable on camera or behind it – ideally both
- Active on at least one social media platform (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, etc.)
- Strong written communication skills (grammar, structure, but still fun)
- Ability to navigate Wordpress to populate content. We can teach this!
- Able to produce consistent content
- Basic video editing skills (CapCut, in-app editing, iMovie, Premiere, etc.)
