Austin FC joined Major League Soccer (MLS) as the League’s 27th club in January 2019. Austin FC officially began competing in MLS in April 2021, and in the 2025 season qualified for the MLS Cup Playoffs while also reaching and hosting the final of the U.S. Open Cup. Austin FC plays its home matches at Q2 Stadium, a 100% privately financed, state-of-the-art stadium which earned certification as a zero-waste venue in 2024. Austin FC sold out all 88 MLS home matches it played at Q2 Stadium during its first five seasons in the league, including three home MLS Cup Playoff matches.
Austin FC is seeking an intern to join the Video Team for the 2026 season. In this internship, you will gain valuable exposure by assisting in the creation of content to be published across social, in-stadium and broadcast platforms in Austin FC, Austin FC II, Austin FC Academy, and Q2 Stadium platforms. This is an opportunity to contribute to Austin FC’s Marketing department as well as a great way to advance your career.

You Will:
- Work with Video Team to shoot and edit club-related events and activities including but not limited to Austin FC II and Academy training and matches, community and corporate sponsor events, club feature projects, and potential first-team event coverage, to develop and produce features for internal and external content needs; and
- Assist in the conceptualization, shooting and editing of short and long-form video and photo content for social media utilizing non-linear editing software (Austin FC utilizes Adobe suite projects); and
- Assist with ingesting, organizing and archiving club and league digital video footage; and
- Learn to edit long-form video podcasts, creating supplemental clips for social media; and
- Assist with other duties from time to time as assigned by Manager of Video Production.
You Have:
- Knowledge of non-linear editing systems such as Premiere Pro and the Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge and ability to use various types of digital video cameras and production equipment
- Familiarity of Microsoft Office
- Ability to maintain attention to detail and to produce high-quality work in accordance with the directions given
- Ability to maintain confidential and/or proprietary information
- Ability and internal drive to demonstrate a winning attitude and strong work ethic in the performance of all job responsibilities
- English and/or Spanish language proficiency is essential and Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus. Additional languages – even better
