College World Series of Omaha, Inc. (CWS, Inc.) is seeking enthusiastic individuals for the Event Internship for the 2026 NCAA® Men’s College World Series® . CWS, Inc., the local organizing committee of the Men’s College World Series, is a non-profit organization incorporated in 1967.

This is an internship opportunity for college students and recent graduates to help gain work experience in the sports industry. The 2026 NCAA® Men’s College World Series® will be June 12-21/22, with the Opening Celebration Day being held on Thursday, June 11. This position starts on Monday, June 8 and ends on Tuesday, June 23. You will be required to relocate to Omaha, NE for the duration of the internship.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with game presentation and on-site activations for community engagement and/or corporate partners. May include but is not limited to:
    • Corporate on-field activities (i.e., throwing t-shirts, organizing baseline races, etc.)
    • Assisting with the national anthem, color guard, and other pre-game activities
    • Support in-venue Master of Ceremonies. o Team arrivals and departures. o Opening Celebration Day assignments o Staffing/operating sponsor fan fest exhibits/activations
  • Communicate and assist Season Ticket Holders and fans with ticketing, parking and other event matters via phone, email, and virtual assistant platforms
  • Support the NCAA Media Coordination Team with distribution of on-site media credentials and meal tickets
  • Assist CWS, Inc. Staff with the activation and hosting duties in the Diesing Hospitality Room
  • Collaborate with CWS, Inc. Staff and other interns on creative content for CWS Omaha social platforms
  • Execute projects, assignments, general administrative duties, and other duties as assigned by the staff

Qualifications:

  • A degree in, or on track to receive a degree in, a related field (Sport Management, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, etc.) plus relevant work experience
  • Excellent written and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of baseball and/or working sporting events
  • Ability to adapt, multi-task, and work as a team under tight deadlines
  • Ability to analyze, problem solve and provide recommended solutions
  • Willingness to work outside of traditional business hours
  • Knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) is a plus
  • Strong creative skills (contribute ideas and different perspectives)

While these are non-paid volunteer positions, housing is provided by CWS, Inc. at one of the co-host institutions. This internship is intended for upperclassmen and graduate students.
