Koa Sports is looking for a Field Hockey Intern. Field hockey is one of our most popular programs, and is continuously growing and expanding. During the summer, we have several programs ranging from beginners to advanced players, U8 through U19.
Koa Sports is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, whose purpose is to Shape Kid's Lives Through Sports. We are looking for dedicated coaches who are able to adequately lead and to help guide our kids both on and off the playing field. We believe that coaching kids to become standouts in their respective sports, as well as to be well-rounded and successful people in life, are equally important aspects of Koa's overall mission. At Koa, we pride ourselves on creating a positive environment for our players and their families. We also provide training for coaches that have not had previous training sessions.
Field Hockey Intern duties and responsibilities: ● Coach at field hockey summer camp 3-5 days a week ● Be able to execute drills and teach basics of field hockey ● Think on your feet ● In office, administrative work 1-2 days per week ● Creating posts for social media ● Embody Koa's 4 Core Values: Positive, Fun, Dedicated, Team First ● Be an all-star communicator. ● Be responsible and take pride in shaping children's lives. ● Must have reliable transportation and a cell phone.
Experience: High School/College playing experience required.
Hourly- While coaching camps, $16- $25 p/hr based on experience; Administrative Work- non paid internship hours offered
