Compensation: Hourly rate on match days and select field setup/breakdown days
Duration: Spring 2027 (January – May)

Position Overview
Carolina Core FC is an independent MLS NEXT Pro club based in High Point, NC. The Corporate Partnerships Operations & Business Administration Intern will support the day-to-day management, activation, and administration of CCFC's corporate partnerships. This role provides hands-on experience across partnership activation, partner communication, asset tracking, financial administration, reporting, and gameday operations. The intern will work closely with the Partnerships, Marketing, Ticketing, and Operations departments to ensure partnership assets and deliverables are executed effectively and partners receive a high level of service. Additional responsibilities may include supporting events and activations within 40 miles of CCFC Headquarters.
Job Duties
  • Assist with the management and tracking of CCFC corporate partnership assets and deliverables.
  • Assist the Partnerships department with partner promotions, events, and gameday activations.
  • Support partner relationships through regular communication and follow-up.
  • Track partnership metrics, invoices, payments, and deliverables.
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable for Corporate Partnerships and Ticketing.
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets, tracking systems, and partnership databases.
  • Utilize asset tracking and partnership management software, including Trak.
  • Build reports and assist with analyzing partnership performance and activation results.
  • Support the development and execution of co-branded giveaways, promotions, and partner initiatives.
  • Assist with CCFC communication efforts related to partnerships, including email campaigns, social media initiatives, events, and partner communications.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing department on partnership-related campaigns and initiatives.
  • Assist with matchday setup, activation execution, and breakdown as needed.
  • Research successful partnership marketing strategies, industry trends, and new opportunities across professional sports.
  • Assist with identifying potential new partnership opportunities and developing leads through professional communication.
  • Support special projects involving new markets, programs, assets, and partnership initiatives.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate records and documentation related to partnership agreements and deliverables.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work match days, events, and occasional field setup/breakdown.
  • Knowledge of soccer or professional sports is a plus, but not required.
  • Current college student receiving academic credit for the internship.
