The Green Bay Rockers and Boomerang Catering, the food and beverage company at Capital Credit Union Park, home of the 2023 & 2025 Northwoods League Champion, is looking for a motivated college student to join our team as an Food and Beverage Intern.
 
This is more than an internship — it's an opportunity to get real-world experience working behind the scenes of sporting events, concerts, private parties, corporate outings, and large-scale events while building valuable skills and connections for your future career.
 
You’ll work directly with the Facility Director and our event team while gaining experience across multiple venues throughout Northeast Wisconsin.
 
Responsibilities
As an Food and Beverage Intern, you will have the opportunity to:
·        Assist with planning, setup, execution, and breakdown of events
·        Support event staff team 
·        Assist with staff scheduling, training, supervision, and event assignments
·        Help manage F&B operation and multiple venues 
·        Assist with corporate outings, group events, and private parties
·        Assist with inventory, ordering, meeting with purveyors 
·        Assist with menu design
·        Work alongside management to ensure events run smoothly and efficiently
·        Gain experience working at multiple venues and different types of events
·        Take on additional responsibilities as your skills and experience grow
 
Qualifications
We're looking for a college student who is:
·        Pursuing a degree in Culinary, Food and Beverage, Restaurant management, Sports Management, Hospitality, Event Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
·        Energetic, dependable, and willing to get involved
·        Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
·        Comfortable working with guests, staff, vendors, and event partners
·        A strong communicator and team player
·        Willing to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays based on event schedules
·        Able to work independently while also being part of a team
·        Interested in gaining hands-on experience in the sports, hospitality, food and beverage, or event industries
 
Schedule
This internship is from May 10th  -  August 16th  2027, designed to provide a hands-on, experience with a full time schedule completing 500 hours throughout the summer.  
·        Interns will participate in bi-weekly career development classes with for interns and other members in the entertainment business.
·        Interns must be in a college program related field
·        Interns will be required to find their own housing
·        Receive certifications in CPR/AED and First Aid
·        Opportunities to work at sporting events, concerts, private parties, corporate events, and other special events
·        Hours will vary based on the event calendar
 
Compensation
·        Bi-weekly Stipend
