The Green Bay Rockers, the 2025 Northwoods League Organization of the Year and 2023 & 2025 Northwoods League Champions, are searching for the next Rockstar! Playing at Capital Credit Union Park in the shadows of Lambeau Field, the Rockers offer a hands-on opportunity for students interested in sports business, ticket sales, customer service and professional sports operations.
The Ticketing Intern will work under the supervision of the Rockers front-office staff and will gain practical experience in all aspects of ticketing and sales operations. This position will play an important role in helping fans have a positive experience from the moment they purchase a ticket through game day.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the Green Bay Rockers ticket office.
- Assist with the sale and processing of individual game tickets, season tickets, flex packs and group tickets.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to fans through phone, email and in-person interactions.
- Assist customers with ticket purchases, exchanges, account questions and other ticketing needs.
- Assist with maintaining accurate customer and ticket account information.
- Learn and utilize the Rockers' ticketing and CRM systems.
- Cold Calls and upselling clients
Qualifications
We're looking for a college student who is:
· Pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Hospitality, Event Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
· Energetic, dependable, and willing to get involved
· Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
· Comfortable working with guests, staff, vendors, and event partners
· A strong communicator and team player
· Willing to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays based on event schedules
· Able to work independently while also being part of a team
· Interested in gaining hands-on experience in the sports, hospitality, food and beverage, or event industries
Schedule
This internship is from May 10th - August 16th 2027, designed to provide a hands-on, experience with a full time schedule completing 500 hours throughout the summer.
· Interns will participate in bi-weekly career development classes with for interns and other members in the entertainment business.
· Interns must be in a college program related field
· Interns will be required to find their own housing
· Receive certifications in CPR/AED and First Aid
· Opportunities to work at sporting events, concerts, private parties, corporate events, and other special events
· Hours will vary based on the event calendar
Compensation
· Bi-weekly Stipend
