Digital Content Internship

USA Basketball, the national governing body in the United States for the sport of basketball, is seeking applicants for a paid digital content internship from February 2026 through September 30, 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for applicants who desire to pursue a career in sports digital media with responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Digital Content Team and overall digital content effort for USA Basketball’s national teams, Youth and Sport Development division, USA Basketball Foundation, and other organizational programming.
• Assist USA Basketball’s digital content team with filming and editing assigned videos including daily USA Basketball team and event highlights, feature video stories, video interviews, and creation of video content to be used across the organization’s digital landscape.
• Live event coverage for 5x5, 3x3 and/or Youth Development events with some travel expected.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or graduation by end of December 2025.
  
• Proven ability to shoot and edit videos with a fast turnaround to meet deadlines.
  
• Possess digital content creation and/or social media management experience in a college/professional sports digital department or equivalent area of work.
  
• Knowledge of additional content creation in any of the following areas: graphic design, motion design and still photography.
  
• Experience with a Mac based operating system and the Adobe Creative Suite.
  
• Highly motivated, well organized, knowledgeable of basketball and able to multi-task, noting extensive hours and availability to work weekends and holidays are required at times.
  
• Ability to work some odd hours given many USA Basketball teams often compete outside of North America.
  
• Ability to relocate to Colorado Springs during duration of internship, noting own transportation and housing will need to be secured.

Compensation:

• $18.00 Hourly Wage.
• Eligible for overtime after 40 hours/week.
