Summary
The Astros Golf Foundation, proud host organization of Houston’s PGA TOUR event, the Texas Children’s Houston Open, is seeking a Ticket Services Intern to support our team in the execution of our ticketing and credentialing programs. This role involves working with our ticketing platform, Ticketmaster, and our credentialing platform, Zoho, to ensure a seamless tournament experience for guests, partners, and participants. In addition to supporting the Texas Children’s Houston Open, this internship will also provide support to other marquee events produced by the Astros Golf Foundation. The selected individual must be detail-oriented, professional, and capable of handling sensitive information.
This candidate will work directly with the Manager of Ticketing and Sponsorship. This internship also includes the opportunity to work collaboratively with other Astros Golf Foundation departments, such as Operations, Volunteers, Sponsorship, Revenue and Retail.

Work Environment
This job will operate in both an office and golf course setting. The noise level is usually moderate but can be loud within the golf course environment. This role can require physical work and will sometimes require work in the elements (wind, rain, warm, cold, etc). This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and focused vision. Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50lbs. Ability to walk long distances and/or stand for long periods of time.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a paid internship.
Typical hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Interns are required to be onsite during the week of the Texas Children’s Houston Open, as well as for all other events produced by the Astros Golf Foundation throughout the period of their internship.
Travel:
This position does not require travel.
