ESPN Finance supports ESPN's operational teams by providing accurate and timely financial analysis of the company's present and future business opportunities through the development of annual operating plans, forecasts, and five-year strategic plans. As part of a storytelling company, we also tell a story; about our financial health, our goals, and our opportunities, and we would love your help in telling those stories! This opportunity is a full-time, three-month internship in the Bristol, CT area from May/June - August 2026.

What You Will Do:  

  • You will work on projects that will likely involve evaluating new or existing business opportunities, researching industry/external trends, and evaluating their potential impact on ESPN.
  • You will also partner with various departments to support the quarterly close process and manage budgets/forecasts, financial consolidation, and variance analysis. This will include P&L forecasting of revenue and expenses and cash flow forecasting. 

Required Qualifications & Skills:  

  • Experience in Finance from internships, clubs and coursework
  • Familiarity with the sports media landscape, including knowledge of business trends and technologies in digital media. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. 
  • Passion for sports! 

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience with data analytics/business intelligence tools, and enterprise-based accounting/financial planning software. 

Education: 

  • Junior or Senior year preferred
  • Major or previous coursework in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related area 

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements: 

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants:  You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.  
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization 

Additional Information:

  • Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) during traditional business hours for the duration of the internship - May/June through August 2026. 
  • Able to provide own housing and transportation in the Bristol, CT area


The pay rate for this role in Connecticut is $22.50 per hour.
