The Burlington Sock Puppets are seeking creative and motivated Graphic Design & Content Creation Interns for the 2027 summer season. This position will assist in developing and executing the team's visual branding, digital marketing, and social media content while gaining hands-on experience in the sports and entertainment industry.
This team of interns will work closely with the team's front office to create and capture the story of our 2027 season, while supporting marketing initiatives that enhance the Sock Puppets' brand and fan experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design graphics for social media, game-day promotions, player announcements, theme nights, sponsorships, and marketing campaigns.
- Create and edit engaging short-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other digital platforms.
- Capture photography and video during home games, community appearances, and special events.
- Assist with real-time social media content creation and coverage during games.
- Develop creative concepts that highlight the team's players, mascots, promotions, and overall fan experience.
- Collaborate with the marketing and promotions departments to develop and execute creative campaigns.
- Maintain consistent branding across digital and print materials.
- Assist with additional creative, marketing, and game-day responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or comparable design software.
- Familiarity with video editing software and social media content creation.
- Strong creativity, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating in a fast-paced team environment.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and home games throughout the season.
- Interest in sports, entertainment, marketing, or digital media preferred.
