Hockey Operations Intern

Position Overview

Ferris State Men’s Hockey is seeking a motivated Volunteer Hockey Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of a Division I hockey program.

This role provides hands-on experience in video breakdown, data tracking, program logistics, and team travel operations while working directly with the coaching staff.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with video capture, breakdown, and opponent scouting
• Support statistical tracking and hockey data analysis
• Organize practice and game video for coaching staff and players
• Assist with team travel logistics and operational planning
• Support daily program operations and administrative tasks
• Help coordinate practice setup and game-day preparation

Qualifications

• Strong interest in hockey operations, analytics, or video analysis
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, and game weekends
• Experience with video platforms, data tracking, or analytics tools is a plus
