Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following are examples of the various functions required. The job requirements are not limited to the items on this list.
- Research and identify potential corporate partnership and sponsorship prospects within the sports and entertainment industry to support revenue generation efforts
- Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and pitch materials for prospective business partners and sponsors
- Support the business development team in maintaining and updating prospect databases, tracking outreach activities, and documenting pipeline progress
- Conduct market analysis and competitive research on industry trends, sponsorship activations, and partnership structures across professional sports organizations
- Coordinate and attend meetings with team members and prospective clients, capturing notes and following up on action items as directed
- Assist in the planning and execution of client entertainment events, prospect hospitality experiences, and partner activation initiatives on game days and during special events at the arena
- Compile reports and summaries on sales activity, partnership performance metrics, and business development initiatives for review by senior staff
- Collaborate across departments including marketing, ticket sales, and event operations to support integrated partnership opportunities and organizational objectives

Education and/or Experience
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of business development principles, including lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline management within sports and entertainment settings. Understanding of the professional sports and live entertainment industry landscape, including revenue streams, sponsorship models, and client engagement strategies.
