About the Internship
MetLife Stadium - home to the NY Giants and NY Jets - has an opportunity for a currently enrolled college junior/senior or post grad student to intern at MetLife Stadium this summer in our Marketing & Communications Department. Our internships are unpaid, and selected students are scheduled 2 days per week (minimum) plus events, from May to August 2027. This internship will allow the student to be fully immersed in the day-to-day operations of the our Marketing & Communications department. Students will learn what it takes to plan and execute marketing initiatives at MetLife Stadium. Please apply with your cover letter and resume expressing your interest. Ideally student will gain academic credit, however it is not required.

Internship Dates
May 2027 through August 2027
(Minimum of 2 days per week + scheduled stadium events)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to the following:

  •  Assist in the creation and publishing of digital content across MetLife Stadium's social media channels and website
  • Support the development of marketing materials for stadium events using Cava, Photoshop, and other design tools
  • Assist with event-day marketing and communication initiatives, including
    • Press operations
    • Social media content capture
    • Social media monitoring and engagement
  • Research media coverage and industry trends and contribute to the department's weekly news clip report
  • Assist with the fulfillment of marketing promotions and activations involving advertisers, sponsors, and partners
  • Provide general administrative and project support to the Marketing & Communications Department as needed


Eligibility
Must be currently enrolled in an Undergraduate program (Junior/Senior as of September 2027) or Post-Graduate program 

Skill Requirements 

  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Powerpoint, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong Understanding of major social media platforms and current digital trends
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills
  • A can-do attitude with the desire to learn and have fun while doing it
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Schedule
Due to the unique Stadium schedule the event operations intern would be required to attend events in the evening, weekends and holidays.
