Position Overview
The Atlanta Hustle of the Ultimate Frisbee Association (UFA) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Intern for the Spring 2026 semester. This is a unique opportunity to gain extensive, hands-on experience with a professional sports franchise and play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the team.
Working directly with the Director of Business Operations, the intern will support gameday logistics, event setup, venue coordination, and team operations. This position provides invaluable exposure to the inner workings of a professional sports organization—from behind-the-scenes planning to live event execution.

The Atlanta Hustle of the Ultimate Frisbee Association (UFA) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Intern for the Spring 2026 semester. This is a unique opportunity to gain extensive, hands-on experience with a professional sports franchise and play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the team.
Working directly with the Director of Business Operations, the intern will support gameday logistics, event setup, venue coordination, and team operations. This position provides invaluable exposure to the inner workings of a professional sports organization—from behind-the-scenes planning to live event execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Gameday Operations:
- Assist with setup, staffing, credentialing, signage, and teardown for all home games and events.
- Event Management:
- Support planning and execution of Hustle-hosted events including tryouts, tournaments, training camps, and community engagements.
- Logistics Coordination:
- Help organize team travel, equipment, and facility scheduling.
- Venue & Vendor Relations:
- Liaise with stadium partners, vendors, and event staff to ensure smooth execution of all Hustle operations.
- Inventory & Equipment:
- Manage storage, transportation, and tracking of Hustle gear, signage, and supplies.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain operations checklists, schedules, and game scripts to ensure seamless communication across departments.
Qualifications
- Current college student pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Business, Event Management, or related field (must be eligible for course credit).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Availability for nights, weekends, and game days as required.
- Professional demeanor and positive, team-first attitude.
Position Details
- Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid – remote during the week; in-person for events and games)
- Term: Spring 2026 (January – May)
- Compensation: Unpaid / for academic course credit
- Availability: Must be available for all home games and select promotional events (February–August)
