The Altoona Curve are a proud member club of Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH). DBH was formed in 2021 to support, promote, and enhance Minor League Baseball through best practices, professional management, innovation, and investment.
Position Overview:
This internship provides hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of a Minor League Baseball club, offering valuable insight into the sports industry. You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting this department’s daily operations while developing professional skills in a baseball environment. Game weeks will be between 40-50 hours a week and non-game weeks will be between 20-30 hours.
Essential Duties and Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, set-up, and execution of pre-game, in-game, and post-game promotions and activations.
- Assist in the execution of Promotional Theme Nights throughout the season such as appearances, props, decorations, etc.
- Provide coordination with National Anthem performers, pregame performances and bands.
- Maintain a cleaning, organization, and inventory schedule for the Promo Room, props, and giveaways/coupons.
- Assist in execution of ballpark giveaways.
- Assist in execution of youth and community events / nights such as Play Ball Weekend.
- Interact with children of all ages appropriately
- Encourage their involvement in games or dances
- Ushering on and off field for activities throughout the game
- Ensuring safety on and off field
- Assist with pocket scheduling throughout Blair County and the surrounding area.
- Filling in at the front desk when needed.
- Other duties as assigned

- Pursuing a relevant degree or recent graduate.
- Available for nights, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation:
- This is a paid, hourly seasonal position beginning in March 2026 and ending in September 2026.
