Reports to: Social Media Director
Location: Milwaukee, WI – Onsite
This position will be part of our 2026 Summer Internship program and our 2026/2027 Season. Our summer program will take place June 1st – August 7th and is available to rising Junior and Senior college students. The role will be part-time during the school year.
We will reach out for interviews starting in January 2026!

Summary:
The Social Media Intern will assist with the Bucks social media strategy with focus on content ideation, capture, development, publishing, and analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Creating content for the team’s social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, and TikTok).
- Capturing and sharing unique, behind-the-scenes photos and videos.
- Writing and posting original captions, tweets, etc.
- Monitoring and replying to fan comments, messages, questions, etc.
- Tracking and analyzing the team’s social media activity and engagement.
- Finding and sharing emerging social media practices and trends with the rest of the social media team.
- Cutting video highlights and mixes during gameday on WSC/ClipPro
- Creating and publishing photo galleries, videos, and stories on Bucks.com
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university and must be an upcoming junior or senior as of Summer 2026 and pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Possess strong analytical skills.
- Capacity to think creatively and contribute new ideas to broader content strategy.
- Ability to think & react quickly and make good decisions.
- Understanding of social media platforms and appropriate use in a business setting.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and general digital literacy skills.
- Design skills, including experience with Adobe Photoshop, are a plus!
- Video editing skills, including experience with Adobe Premier or Final Cut Pro, are a plus!
- Ability to work late nights, weekends, and occasional holidays.
- Knowledge of and passion for the Milwaukee Bucks or National Basketball Association is a plus!
