Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania seeks highly-motivated and passionate individuals to fill two Graduate Assistant positions in the Sports Communications and Multimedia office.
Lehigh graduate assistants work 20 hours per week and follow a variable schedule that regularly requires work during nights, weekends and holidays.

Sports Communications Graduate Assistant
This position will work with members of the sports communications and multimedia teams to tell the story of Lehigh’s 26 varsity sport programs, through digital and written mediums as well as social media.
This individual will serve as the direct contact for several sports and will work with sports communications team members in creation and execution of both creative and informational content, including, but not limited to: written stories, website management, maintaining statistics, social media, photography and videography.
The graduate assistant will also assist with the execution of content plans surrounding events and other department initiatives and could assist with game day staging elements including marketing execution, music and fan engagement.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and strong communication skills. Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite and/or statistical software programs (Stat Crew/NCAA Live Stats/PrestoStats) is a plus.

Multimedia Graduate Assistant
The multimedia graduate assistant works with the multimedia team on the production and execution of game day event content for either Patriot League on ESPN broadcasts or in-venue video boards. This includes camera, graphics and replay operations. This position also assists with content creation to prepare for event coverage (editing video packages, creating graphics packages for streamed events or video boards) and will act as a fourth member of multimedia team and assist with coverage if needed on a day with multiple events.
Additionally, this graduate assistant acts an extension of the multimedia office and offers assistance and creative insight on projects for LehighSports.com and social media platforms. This position will assist with video content creation for both informational and storytelling purposes which includes but is not limited to conducting interviews, capturing and editing highlight videos. The graduate assistant will also assist the sports communications and operation with graphic design, videography and photography projects.
Training will be provided for ESPN+ broadcasts, video board productions and design and editing software (the Adobe Creative Suite).
