New England Golf and Tennis Camp is seeking a Greenskeeper Intern to support course care and grounds operations for Summer 2026. This is a strong fit for a motivated student or early-career team member who wants hands-on experience in golf course maintenance, landscaping, and outdoor facility operations in a residential camp setting.
You will work with camp leadership and facilities staff to help maintain our golf course and surrounding property. Your work will support daily play, course presentation, and a safe, high-quality experience for campers.
Essential Responsibilities

Golf Course and Grounds Care
- Assist with daily golf course maintenance including mowing, raking, trimming, and general upkeep
- Help maintain tees, greens, fairways, bunkers, and practice areas
- Support irrigation checks.Β

Landscaping and Property Support
- Assist with landscaping projects including planting, mulching, weeding, edging, and seasonal cleanup
- Help maintain the appearance of shared outdoor spaces near the golf program and across camp
- Support trash removal, site cleanup, and property appearance as needed

Operations and Team Support
- Prepare the course and practice areas for daily camper use
- Monitor grounds for safety concerns and report issues to supervisors
- Use hand tools, landscaping tools, and maintenance equipment safely and responsibly
- Support opening, in-season, and closing projects across the golf and facilities areas
Qualifications
- Minimum age 18
- Interest in golf course maintenance, turf management, landscaping, or outdoor operations
- Prior experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, golf operations, or maintenance is helpful
- Able to lift, carry, bend, rake, walk long distances, and work outdoors in varied weather conditions
- Reliable, hardworking, and ready to learn
