TIME COMMITMENT
Game days are long (sometimes 10–12 hours) and often unpredictable. That’s the reality of sports. But if you’re wired for this, it’s the best classroom you’ll ever step into. Schedules vary by role, but all interns are expected to participate on game days as part of their learning experience (up to two per week). Most roles also include non-game day activities, which may be completed remotely or on-site. Some roles may involve occasional travel, youth clinics, or player appearances.
WHAT YOU'LL GAIN
A true behind-the-scenes education in how sports teams actually operate.
Real-world reps in a fast-paced environment that challenge you to problem-solve, communicate and adapt. Mentorship, feedback and professional development through your internship -- a proven launchpad into the sports industry -- with alumni now working in the NFL, MLB, NHL, USL, NCAA and more.
ONE MORE THING:
Lionsbridge FC internships are unpaid and designed to comply with the U.S. Department of Labor’s guidelines for educational internships under the Fair Labor Standards Act. These internships are intended to benefit the intern through mentorship, skills development, and exposure to professional environments. Interns work under supervision and do not replace paid staff or hold independent operational authority. Academic credit is strongly encouraged and can often be arranged in collaboration with your college or university.
Application Timeline
Lionsbridge FC is accepting internship applications for the 2026 season, and final decisions likely will be made in February.
