The Vancouver Canadians Professional Baseball Club's Ticket Operations Internship is a highly competitive program in a fast-paced learning environment that offers ambitious, responsible and hard-working individuals the opportunity to gain experience in the sports industry.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Answer phone calls, respond to emails and assist fans in-person at the Box Office
Ticket Sales and Management: Process ticket sales in-person and over the phone, distribute tickets at the window, troubleshoot fan ticket issues
Event-Day Support: Prepare ticketing areas of focus for fan arrival, assist in management of event-day ticketing staff, selling and troubleshooting at the Box Office windows
Administrative Tasks: Respond to inter-office emails, assist Manager, Ticket Operations with tasks such as data entry, and report preparation
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Ability and willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays as required
Computer literate
Legally able to work in Canada
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong customer service skills
