Honeybees are looking for a Video & Digital Media Intern to join their team in Minot, North Dakota for the 2026 season. As the Video & Digital Media Intern you will help support the Media & Marketing Team with sponsorship activation, entertainment and ticket departments. We’re looking for passionate, talented and positive people who strive for excellence, happiness and inspire the same in others.
The Video & Digital Media Intern will be responsible for assisting the Marketing Director & Video Production Manager and other internal teams with content that lives on the social media, website and other platforms for the Minot Hot Tots / Honeybees and their affiliate company, Funatix Events.
The Video & Digital Media Intern will assist in the creative process of a variety of different content for tickets sales, sponsorship activation and merchandise marketing, etc.
The Video & Digital Media Intern will attend weekly marketing meetings and provide new ideas each meeting as set forth by the Marketing Director & Video Production Manager. The Video & Digital Media Intern will also suggest social media postings from prior experience and pitch new/creative ideas for content.
The Video & Digital Media Intern will operate a camera during the Hot Tots and Honeybees video broadcast during all home games. The Video & Digital Media Intern will assist the Marketing Director in any extra video-related needs (cleaning broadcast equipment, organizing press box equipment, etc.). When not operating a camera, the Video & Digital Media Intern will film on-field action, fans throughout the ballpark, on-field promotions and other events happening.
The Video & Digital Media Intern will be capturing and creating content to display on Hot Tots / Honeybees social media accounts (Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tik Tok).
As the Video & Digital Media Intern, you will also play an active role serving as a team representative at sponsor promotions, events, Minot games and Funatix Events.
Academic Qualifications: Applicants should be studying a subject in a relevant field. This may include but is not limited to Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, Sport Management.
General Team Responsibilities
- Non-Game Day/Event Hours: Expected to attend office hours of 9 AM-5 PM each weekday.
- Assist with distribution of team pocket schedules, posters and other marketing materials throughout the stadium and community. Remote schedule is available.
- All other duties as assigned by Minot front office staff
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, InDesign, Lightroom, Photoshop)
- Availability to work all home games, team events and Funatix Events
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to think creatively and outside-the-box
- Must be a team player with strong leadership and communication skills
- Must be enthusiastic with a desire to work hard and have a positive “can‐do” attitude
- Ability to multi‐task and handle responsibility
- Self-motivated and ability to take initiative
- Enthusiastic team player, shows enjoyment and interest in working collaboratively
- The ability to work extended hours upwards of 14 hours and lift 30-50 lbs

Reports To: Marketing Director & Video Production Manager
Stipend & Housing: This is an unpaid internship. Team does offer a stipend to help cover expenses such as housing, transportation, food etc. Team offers 2 options to accommodate interns who are local and interns will travel to Bismarck for the internship.
- Option 1:
- Stipend - $1000/Month
- Housing - Not Provided. Intern is responsible for providing their own housing.
- Option 2:
- Stipend - $500/Month
- Housing - Provided. Intern is responsible for deposit and utilities.
Credit: College credit towards a major, minor or general elective may be earned.
