Quaker Internship Program Mission Statement
The Quaker Internship Program serves to provide the next generation of industry leaders with hands-on exposure to the inner workings of collegiate athletics and recreation. Our Quaker Interns help further Penn’s strategic goals and objectives, while in return our interns leave with a new and unique perspective on the industry they are actively pursuing. All applicants must be eligible to receive academic credit.

Internship Description
The Athletic Communications Intern will assist with the day-to-day operations of Penn’s athletic communications department, working closely with the University’s varsity athletic programs. The role will primarily involve supporting athletic events and providing game-day assistance, while also completing office assignments such as website maintenance, graphic design, record book updates, and social media management. The intern will gain hands-on experience in various areas of athletic communications while contributing new ideas and creative initiatives to the department. The position requires approximately 15–20 hours per week, with most hours spent supporting athletic events and some time working in the office.
