Quaker Internship Program Mission Statement
The Quaker Internship Program serves to provide the next generation of industry leaders with hands-on exposure to the inner workings of collegiate athletics and recreation. Our Quaker Interns help further Penn’s strategic goals and objectives, while in return our interns leave with a new and unique perspective on the industry they are actively pursuing. All applicants must be eligible to receive academic credit.
Internship Description
The Campus Recreation Programs Intern will support the planning, coordination, and day-to-day operations of Campus Recreation programs, including aquatics, intramurals, club sports, and outdoor/adventure programming. The intern will assist with program development and execution, participant engagement, marketing and outreach, scheduling, logistics, and event operations. The intern will also support program assessment by tracking participation, gathering participant feedback, and analyzing data to help enhance the overall participant experience. The intern will be expected to work approximately 20 hours per week.
