The Quaker Internship Program serves to provide the next generation of industry leaders with hands-on exposure to the inner workings of collegiate athletics and recreation. Our Quaker Interns help further Penn’s strategic goals and objectives, while in return our interns leave with a new and unique perspective on the industry they are actively pursuing. All applicants must be eligible to receive academic credit.

Internship Description
The Broadcast and Production Intern will assist with live sports broadcasts and production operations, including camera operation, replay, graphics, audio, equipment setup, and post-production tasks. The intern will gain hands-on experience with broadcast technology while supporting Penn Athletics’ various sports and production workflows. The position will be hybrid and require approximately 15–20 hours per week.

Internship Qualifications
•Strong interest in live sports broadcasting, video production, and collegiate athletics
•Basic knowledge of live production, including cameras, graphics, replay, and audio
•Previous production or live event experience preferred
•Comfortable learning new broadcast equipment, software, and workflows
•Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
•Dependable, organized, and available to work evenings and weekends as needed
