Quaker Internship Program Mission Statement
The Quaker Internship Program serves to provide the next generation of industry leaders with hands-on exposure to the inner workings of collegiate athletics and recreation. Our Quaker Interns help further Penn’s strategic goals and objectives, while in return our interns leave with a new and unique perspective on the industry they are actively pursuing. All applicants must be eligible to receive academic credit.
Internship Description
The Athletic Director’s Office Intern will primarily assist the Administrative Coordinator and Administrative Fellow with the planning and support of projects for the Office of the Athletic Director, as well as the day-to-day administrative operations of the Dunning Coaches’ Center. The intern will assist the Administrative Fellow with strategic planning for the Quaker Internship Program and will also serve as a day-to-day point of contact for Penn Athletics staff, coaches, and stakeholders. The intern will be expected to work approximately 15–20 hours per week.
