Quaker Internship Program Mission Statement
The Quaker Internship Program serves to provide the next generation of industry leaders with hands-on exposure to the inner workings of collegiate athletics and recreation. Our Quaker Interns help further Penn’s strategic goals and objectives, while in return our interns leave with a new and unique perspective on the industry they are actively pursuing. All applicants must be eligible to receive academic credit.

Internship Description
The Athletic Facilities Intern will work closely with operations staff, facilities services, and contracted service providers to ensure the smooth operation of all athletic events and facilities. The intern will serve as a secondary event manager for various athletic and external events, submit work orders as needed for athletic facilities, conduct cost analysis reports on past service orders, assist with event setup and teardown, and conduct weekly walkthroughs with facilities staff to ensure the full functionality and readiness of all athletics buildings. The intern will be expected to work approximately 25–30 hours per week.

Internship Qualifications
•Ability to work with diverse groups of individuals
•Ability to complete reasonable manual labor
•Valid driver’s license and a flexible schedule as needed
•Interest in athletics operations or event management
