Quaker Internship Program Mission Statement
The Quaker Internship Program serves to provide the next generation of industry leaders with hands-on exposure to the inner workings of collegiate athletics and recreation. Our Quaker Interns help further Penn’s strategic goals and objectives, while in return our interns leave with a new and unique perspective on the industry they are actively pursuing. All applicants must be eligible to receive academic credit.
Internship Description
This role will support the Fitness and Wellbeing area of Campus Recreation, with a focus on wellness programming, group exercise, and member engagement. Interns will be expected to work approximately 20 hours per week. The intern will assist with planning and running wellness events and workshops, supporting group exercise and small group training operations, and helping with instructor scheduling and class data tracking. Additional responsibilities will include creating wellness content and promotions, supporting campus wellness partnerships, and gathering participant feedback to improve programs and grow participation.

This role would be a good fit for someone with a background in health education, health promotion, wellness programming, or event planning.
