Quaker Internship Program Mission Statement
The Quaker Internship Program serves to provide the next generation of industry leaders with hands-on exposure to the inner workings of collegiate athletics and recreation. Our Quaker Interns help further Penn’s strategic goals and objectives, while in return our interns leave with a new and unique perspective on the industry they are actively pursuing. All applicants must be eligible to receive academic credit.
Internship Description
As the Student-Athlete Development Intern, you will assist the Center for Student Athlete Success (CSAS) team with spring events and programming. You will support administrative tasks related to the Center’s work in Career Success, Community Service, Educational Programs, and Leadership Development. This role requires an outgoing, personable individual who is willing to engage with student-athletes, coaches, and staff to support and promote high-impact events and programs. This position requires approximately 15–20 hours per week.
Internship Qualifications
•Strong administrative and organizational skills.
•Ability to assist with planning and managing events.
•Strong communication skills with the ability to proactively reach out to and follow up with students.
•Experience with Canva and major social media platforms.
