Our Quaker Interns help further Penn’s strategic goals and objectives, while in return our interns leave with a new and unique perspective on the industry they are actively pursuing. All applicants must be eligible to receive academic credit.
Internship Description
The Penn Football Operations Intern will gain significant exposure to the unique Ivy League process and the daily operation of an FCS football program. Duties will include filming practices and games, charting aspects of practice, and assisting with daily practice setup and breakdown. The intern will assist coaches with daily meeting operations, including meeting preparation and ensuring meeting functionality. The intern will also support the coaching staff with recruiting operations and data collection. Other tasks and projects will be assigned throughout the course of the internship. The intern will be expected to work approximately 25–30 hours per week, and flexible hours will be required to accommodate practices, games, meetings, recruiting activities, and other team needs.
Internship Qualifications
•Previous experience in collegiate or professional athletic environment is preferred
•Familiarity with data management
•Basic understanding of football is preferred
•Familiarity with the Microsoft Suite
•Willingness to learn
