ABOUT THE CLUB
Minnesota Aurora FC is a community-owned women’s soccer team based in the Twin Cities, with over 5,000 community owners across all 50 states and 19 countries. The team plays in the pre-professional USL W League, featuring the best amateur and aspiring professional players from Minnesota and around the world. The club is operated by a women-led front office and coaching staff.

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM EXPECTATIONS
Interns are expected to participate in the organization as required of all staff in preparation for and during the season.
Everyone must be available for all home games, including pre-season exhibition games (early May) and post-season playoff games (weekends in July). Additional events led by your department (kit reveal, community owner events, inventory, season ticket-holder events, volunteer appreciation, and more) may also require attendance and support.
Aurora FC recognizes individual circumstances may vary. Clear and immediate communication is expected if you cannot attend an event or need to adjust your schedule.
Interns are expected to participate in regular one-on-one meetings with their manager, as well as department meetings, to foster learning, growth, and a balanced work experience.
POSITION OVERVIEW
This internship is part of the Minnesota Aurora FC program, designed to create opportunities for people historically underrepresented in sports to develop professionally through hands-on, meaningful work experience that directly supports the growth and development of the club.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Manager: Game Day Manager

Goal / Intended Outcome:
Ensure volunteers are recruited, onboarded, scheduled, and supported throughout their experience.
Tasks:
Note: This position requires working in the office at least one business day prior to each game for preparation, and in-person attendance at all games from setup to teardown.
COMPENSATION
Internships with Minnesota Aurora FC are unpaid.
