ABOUT THE CLUB
Minnesota Aurora FC is a community-owned women’s soccer team based in the Twin Cities, with over 5,000 community owners across all 50 states and 19 countries. The team plays in the pre-professional USL W League, featuring top amateur and aspiring professional players from Minnesota and around the globe. The club is operated by a women-led front office and coaching staff.

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM EXPECTATIONS
Interns are expected to actively participate in the organization, as required of all staff, in preparation for and during the season. All interns must be available for:

Pre-season exhibition games (early May)

All home games

Post-season playoff games (weekends in July)
Additionally, interns may be required to attend and support department-led events such as:

Kit reveals

Community owner events

Inventory organization

Season ticket-holder events

Volunteer appreciation events
Minnesota Aurora FC understands that individual circumstances may differ; however, clear and timely communication is expected if you are unable to attend events or require schedule adjustments.
To support a productive and balanced environment, interns are expected to:

POSITION OVERVIEW
This internship is ideal for individuals who thrive in relationship-driven environments, enjoy direct communication with external partners, and take pride in delivering exceptional experiences.
As a Partnership Experience Coordinator, you will serve as a key point of contact for sponsors before and during matchdays, ensuring all details are confirmed and each partner’s experience is seamless, welcoming, and professional.
You will work closely with the Partnerships team, Marketing, Operations, and Game Day staff, and regularly interact with corporate sponsors, nonprofit partners, and community organizations.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Partnership Experience Coordinator

Goal / Intended Outcome:
Act as a mid-level associate responsible for executing and coordinating sponsorship assets, activations, signage, and digital deliverables while collaborating with coordinators and interns.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner Communication & Coordination

Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned partners leading up to matchdays

Confirm key details, including:

Arrival times

Onsite activations or booths

Parking logistics

Ticket allocations
-
Signage, giveaways, or recognitions

Respond promptly and professionally to emails

Make phone calls to clarify details and resolve issues

Communicate partner needs internally across departments
Matchday Partner Experience

Greet partners and their staff upon arrival

Act as an onsite host to ensure a welcoming and smooth experience

Troubleshoot issues calmly and professionally in real time

Coordinate with stadium staff, volunteers, and front office personnel

Guide partners through the matchday experience and logistics
Relationship & Customer Service Excellence

Represent Minnesota Aurora FC with professionalism and confidence

Build strong relationships through clear and attentive communication

Ensure partners feel valued, heard, and respected

Organization & Time Management
