Position Overview:
The Ticket Sales Intern will support the Wind Surge Ticket Sales team throughout the season. The position will include both game day and non-game day event duties. The ideal candidate is a strong, energetic communicator with the ability to work in a team environment, have an eagerness to learn, and possess the flexibility to adapt to what each day brings with a positive attitude.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in promoting and selling individual game tickets, season tickets, and group packages
- Support the sales team in managing customer relationships and tracking sales leads
- Help with outreach to potential clients, including schools, businesses, and local organizations
- Assist in creating and distributing ticket sales materials and promotional content
- Participate in the coordination of ticket giveaways and promotions on game days
- Gain exposure to CRM tools and sales tracking systems
- Assist with reporting on ticket sales performance and market trends
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current student or recent graduate a plus
- Knowledge of baseball a plus
- Strong time management, communication, and organization skills
- Ability to supply excellent customer service to all clients and fans
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Detail oriented and comfortable with sales
- Familiarity with a ticketing system preferred
- Problem solving and conflict management skills
- Positive attitude
