Quaker Internship Program Mission Statement
The Quaker Internship Program serves to provide the next generation of industry leaders with
hands-on exposure to the inner workings of collegiate athletics and recreation. Our Quaker
Interns help further Penn’s strategic goals and objectives, while in return our interns leave with
a new and unique perspective on the industry they are actively pursuing. All applicants must be
eligible to receive academic credit.
Internship Description
The Track and Field Recruiting Intern will work full-time under the guidance of the track and
field coaches to identify and reach out to potential prospects, including high school boys and
girls across all event areas, through social media and email. The intern will maintain an up-to date database of prospects and their performances, assist with organizing priority recruits and
ensuring timely communication, track recruiting communications, and assist with the planning
and execution of official visits.
