Quaker Internship Program Mission Statement
The Quaker Internship Program serves to provide the next generation of industry leaders with hands-on exposure to the inner workings of collegiate athletics and recreation. Our Quaker Interns help further Penn’s strategic goals and objectives, while in return our interns leave with a new and unique perspective on the industry they are actively pursuing. All applicants must be eligible to receive academic credit.

Internship Description

As part of Penn Women’s Lacrosse, interns play a vital role in upholding the standards, culture, and operational excellence of the program, contributing 25–30 hours per week. Interns with Penn Women’s Lacrosse will be expected to assist with field preparation and filming during practices and games. Interns will also assist with the management of team equipment on practice, game, and travel days. Interns will work closely with Penn Women’s Lacrosse staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Interns may also work in tandem with marketing staff to develop a social media strategy for Penn Women’s Lacrosse and will be asked to capture engaging content from both games and practices.

Internship Qualifications

• Be reliable, organized, and proactive
• Basic knowledge of lacrosse is preferred
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Suite products
• Exhibit a positive and professional attitude toward players, staff, and officials
• Follow all Penn Athletics policies and NCAA regulations
• Flexible hours
