Quaker Internship Program Mission Statement
The Quaker Internship Program serves to provide the next generation of industry leaders with
hands-on exposure to the inner workings of collegiate athletics and recreation. Our Quaker
Interns help further Penn’s strategic goals and objectives, while in return our interns leave with
a new and unique perspective on the industry they are actively pursuing. All applicants must be
eligible to receive academic credit.
Internship Description
The Women’s Soccer Operations Intern will work in tandem with the coaching staff to
coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Penn Women’s Soccer offices. Responsibilities will
include basic data collection, assisting with recruiting efforts and prospective student-athlete
communication, organizing Penn Women’s Soccer camps, communicating with alumni, and
other duties as assigned by Douglas N. Brush Head Coach Krissy Turner.
Internship Qualifications
• A base-level knowledge of soccer is expected
• Familiarity with the Microsoft suite of applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Detail-oriented nature
