Riddell is seeking a Data Analytics Intern to join the InSite Analytics team. The Data Analytics Intern is responsible for handling requests for custom reports and data exports from programs across all levels of football. This role will also support the InSite Analytics platform to ensure our customers, football coaches and staff, receive advanced impact data analytics in a timely manner. This individual will gather requirements, generate custom visuals and reports, deliver data exports to customers, and work cross functionally with Customer Success and Sales Support teams to create custom reporting solutions and resolve issues reported from the field.

The Data Analytics Intern will be based out of the Riddell Headquarters in Des Plaines, Illinois. This individual will partner and collaborate with all on-site Sales, Support, Customer Success, Marketing, and Data groups as part of the broader InSite Analytics team.

 

Job Duties:

  • Partner with Sales and Sales Support teams to gather requirements and gain a better understanding of customer requests
  • Translate requirements into new visuals and reports to give coaches refined insights into their impact data
  • Execute and deliver data exports upon customer request
  • Proactively identify and troubleshoot any issues that occur with report generation
  • Partner with Sales Support Team to coordinate resolution of any customer related delays in report generation
  • Communicate report status to internal team to ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Collaborate with all members of the InSite Analytics team to understand customer workflows and product usage to ensure best-in-class service
  • Partner with internal Data Analytics team to generate new and innovative ways to present impact data to clients

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Pursuing Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Team player who is open to sharing ideas and learning

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Practical Experience with analytics tool(s): SQL, Python, R, etc.
  • Familiarity with data visualization software such as Power BI, Looker, or Tableau
  • Knowledge and interest in the sport of football
