NC Courage and North Carolina FC (Paid Internship)

The North Carolina Football Club, the parent organization of the NC Courage (first-division womenโ€™s pro soccer team playing in the NWSL) and North Carolina FC (USL League One), is seeking a Live Production Intern that will assist is the operations of the show at NCFC and NC Courage games and events. Driving the enhancement of every fan's experience by planning and executing captivating on-field activations, collaborating with diverse teams for seamless execution, and actively engaging with fans to build an unwavering supporter base. This role promises an adrenaline-pumping blend of creativity, coordination, and fan interaction, making each game day an unforgettable spectacle. 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Game Day Production:   
    • Assist in the planning and execution of production initiatives to enhance the game day experience. 
    • Collaborate with the production team to develop and implement pre-game, in-game, and post-game on field activations. 
    • Contribute to the planning and execution of matchday experiences.   
  • Run of Show:   
    • Working closely with operations, marketing, and partnerships to ensure smooth coordination and execution of all game day on field activations.   
    • Assist in the execution of the game day run of show, including pre-game promotions, halftime activities, and post-game events.   
    • Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment with the overall production strategy.   
  • Fan Engagement:   
    • Engage with fans on game days to gather feedback and enhance the overall fan experience.  
    • Support the implementation of fan-focused initiatives to build a strong and loyal supporter base.   
  • Collaboration:   
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and partnerships, to ensure seamless coordination on game days, and complete deliverables for other internal and external stakeholders. 
QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program in Broadcast/ Communications/ Sports Management.
  • Strong organizational, communication, problem solving, and project management skills.   
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.   
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Preferred knowledge of Click Effects and Ross products.  
  • Able to work nights and weekends in addition to hybrid work hours during the week.   
  • Knowledge of and passion for soccer and community engagement is preferred.
