BAHC Mission: Our mission is to unite the Bay Area through sport by building pride, connecting communities, and reenergizing the entire region. With support from the area’s preeminent leaders and professional sports teams – including Bay FC, the Golden State Warriors, the Golden State Valkyries, the San Francisco 49ers, the San Francisco Giants, the San Jose Earthquakes, and the San Jose Sharks – the BAHC is bringing the best to the Bay while celebrating the diversity, innovation, and fandom that make the region unique.
Internship Program Mission
The Bay Area Host Committee (BAHC) internship program aims to develop passionate and skilled individuals who will drive impactful change in the sports industry. By providing meaningful, hands-on experiences, we empower interns to contribute to our vision of delivering high-quality sporting events that create lasting positive change in the Bay Area and beyond. Through collaboration with key stakeholders and community programs, interns will play a vital role in the planning for globally-recognized events and developing innovative initiatives.
Program Qualifications
· Actively pursuing Bachelor's degree or Graduate Degree (related to area of interest is preferred)
· Must receive course credit
· Organized, proactive, and ready to juggle multiple projects
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a team-oriented environment
· Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher
· Must reside or be willing to relocate to the Bay Area (no relocation assistance will be provided)
· Loves sports, live events, and the chance to be a part of something bigger
