Summary:
The Community Relations Intern will be responsible for assisting the Community Relations Department with a variety of activities on game nights and at special events.
Responsibilites:
- Assist in the coordination of all Community Relations game day activities;
- Assist in the facilitation of Community Relations special events;
- Handle incoming fan mail and dontation requests
- Assist with Community Relations department on all Sabres Community Relations and Buffalo Sabres Foundation programs;
- Promote a positive fan experience and work as a part of a creative team.
Requirements:
- Available for all game nights and special events;
- Pursuing a degree in a related filed such as Sports Management, Business Administration or related preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Professional appearance and positive attitude as well as demonstrate initiative;
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
- Ability to meet deadlines as they are presented and be detail orientated;
- Possess computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Compensation:
This role pays an hourly rate of $15.50.
