The Jackson Rockabillys are a summer a Prospect League summer collegiate baseball team located in Jackson, TN. We are entering our third season in the Prospect League and are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our intern team for the 2025 season. Interns would need to report in early to mid-May with a finish date following the Prospect League Season. Regular Season home games will be over by the end July, however potential playoffs and special events may be held in early to mid- August. The starting date is flexible depending on the applicant’s school schedule.
This is an unpaid internship with an end of season $600.00 stipend for completion of the seasonal internships. Applicants should pursue college credit from their college or university. In-person internship is preferred but would consider remote for the right candidate.
The Jackson Rockabillys are looking for a creative, driven, and enthusiastic Digital Content Creator & Social Media Intern to join our front office team for the 2025 season. This hands-on internship will give you the opportunity to create engaging content, manage social media accounts, and develop your skills in sports marketing and digital storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
Capture and create engaging content (photos, videos, reels, stories) for games, events, and in-stadium promotions
Assist in planning, scheduling, and publishing social media content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X/Twitter, YouTube)
Monitor social media trends and contribute creative ideas to boost online engagement
Work closely with players, fans, staff, and mascots to develop fun, community-centered content
Support content creation for email newsletters, website, and promotional campaigns
Assist with giveaways, and fan engagement initiatives
Live post during games and events, including scoring updates, highlight clips, and behind-the-scenes moments
Maintain digital asset organization (photos, video clips, brand templates)
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and digital best practices
Experience with content creation tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, live-event environment (nights and weekends required)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Passion for baseball, sports entertainment, and fan engagement
Photography and/or video editing experience a plus (if in person)
