Location: Hybrid – College Park, Maryland

Time Commitment: 40 hours per week

The Washington Commanders are seeking a passionate and motivated Digital Marketing Intern to join our team for the 2025 Season. This position is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a variety of digital marketing disciplines—including email marketing, website management, copywriting, analytics, and more.
As a Digital Marketing Intern, you’ll play a key role in supporting the strategy and execution of digital campaigns that drive revenue, lead generation, and fan engagement. You’ll have ownership over projects from start to finish and collaborate with departments across the organization. What You’ll Do:
- Learn and support all aspects of digital marketing, including email campaigns, website content updates, performance marketing, and data reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Ticketing, Sponsorship, and Editorial to ensure digital efforts align with broader business goals
- Prepare performance reports that highlight key metrics, trends, and areas for optimization
- Own the production and deployment of the team’s weekly email newsletter, applying best practices in email strategy and design
- Support the upkeep and content management of the Commanders Mobile App, including assisting with UX/UI design, creating interactive fan games, and promoting team initiatives through app features and updates
- Assist with game day and event marketing activations as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Current student or recent graduate (within one year) pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail and storytelling
- Experience with copywriting, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator); basic HTML and Excel knowledge preferred
- Graphic design experience a plus
- A strategic thinker who’s also highly creative and collaborative
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision
- Willingness to work non-traditional hours including weekends and game days
- A team player who embodies the Washington Commanders' core values
